Great location for Santa Teresa, very friendly owners and staff, wonderful breakfasts served in the garden. Excellent value for money, great art gallery as part of the building.

Great hotel. A bit away from central Rio but Uber/taxi connections are very good. We particularly enjoyed the roof top pool and adjacent bar.

Hands down the best experience of my life

The location is excellent. A much quieter section of Copcabana.Staff at very good and helpful. Metro about 20min walk. Good places to eat near by. Would definitely stay here again. They do put a charge on your credit card at check in rather than just take card details. Would have been helpful to know this before hand as could have been a problem if not enough credit.

A beautiful building. Comfortable bed and a great night's sleep. Spacious room with a lounge. Bathroom was big with a spacious deep bath, good shower unit lovely blue tiles. Our balcony had a view over St Theresa and down town Rio. Staff were very help when our WiFi was not working and I was using up all of my data allowance. The fault was fixed. Very clean, friendly staff, we loved everything!! I asked the staff to hold our bags and they were really nice and polite. The only thing I would complain is the air conditioner really high but when I asked them to put it down, they did :)

Hotel Nacional is a huge, modern and impressive looking hotel, but our stay did not get off to the best start. Check in took over 40 minutes after a long flight, and there always seemed to be queues at reception. The guy checking us took 20 minutes and seemed very slow. We'd booked two junior suites rooms and had asked to be on the same floor so our kids could be near us, but were put around 20 floors apart and were told the hotel was full, which was annoying.
