"Great place to stay. Small living quarters and bathroom, but location is perfect. Decent view and nice appliances. One note is that the WiFi password and network on the card in the living room were wrong and I had to get the correct login from the router. "

"Absolutely lovely cottage, clean, cosy and in the perfect location. We have had a great time. Very steep stairs inside the property and a fairly short bed so if you are super tall with mobility problems it might be difficult but for us it was perfect."

"Was perfect. 5 minutes walk to the beach 2 outside areas, 1 was a sun trap and sheltered from the wind Great showers, nice white towels, lovely beds and sheets TVs in each room, great internet speeds (75mb) and if you take your appleTV or similar can plug straight into router in main living room. Kitchen had everything you will need Cannot complain about this place at all. Will book again"

"There was 7 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday, this accommodation was perfect, very clean, everything you could think of that you would need for a weekend or even if you were there longer, the accommodation was exactly like the pictures showed. Very impressed and would definitely recommend and we would definitely stay there again - perfect 10/10"

Great location to access the town and lots of free parking during the off-season. Possibly not suitable for those with mobility issues as property as accessible via 3 flights of stairs. "The room was spotless but a bit dated. Bed was very comfortable. However, ran out of eggs and bacon at breakfast and sausage was undercooked"

"No where to hang clothes in the bathroom, so clothes got wet when putting them on the toilet seat,shower had black mould in sealant and no shelf in the shower itself. Tv remote was dirty. Bed matteress nearest the door was very noisy sounds like the springs are gone. Parking is a nightmare but free, most coast places are hard to park near the hotel. Good location for Pavillion and Harbour and cafes."

"A warm welcome at this unique and very lovely hotel. Staff throughout our stay were friendly, professional and helpful. Room (La Rosa) was fabulous, quirky, comfortable with all necessary amenities and a view of the coastline to die for! Cocktails in the library were gorgeous as was the continental breakfast we had in the tea room. Close to town and the beach, I would stay here again and have no hesitation recommending to others."

"We stayed in the family room which was great. We like the fact that there was 2 separate double bedrooms there's no sitting area but it is a room and not an annexe so it wasn't expected. Both rooms did have separate tea trays so if 2 people wanted to save a bit of cash and share a room it's a great bargain. The shower was plenty big enough and powerful and the bathroom was a decent size too. The towels and bed linen are good quality with feather quilts and pillows and white cotton bedding. There is a fair few stairs to go up so might be unsuitable for people with walking issues. The staff are friendly and check in was so easy and we got an email the day before asking if we needed anything like a late check in or out which can be done at a small cost but as you don't have to checkout until 11 there's was no need for us to do so. The breakfast was not included but the pub downstairs starts serving brunch at 11 and has a great choice so if you want a lay in just go to that , they also serve food all day and it's a good price compared to some places in Whitby. The granby has always been a great pub so it's a bonus to be staying above and the location to other amenities is really good , all in all it was a good reasonably priced stay and we will definitely be back"
