"The room was in a very poor state of repair, electrical sockets hanging off the wall, windows held in with tape, paint peeling, thick clumps of hair on the towels, pillows ripped, lumpy and filthy, mould in the room, table broken and couldn't be used as the top fell off - clearly a long standing issue as there were screws randomly put into the top which fixed nothing. "Very well-situated. Had all the amenities. Has a washer and a kitchen. The owner was kind and the apartment was big. It was easy to communicate with the property via WhatsApp. It was right near the river with cafés and a market nearby. We could walk almost everywhere."
