"We really enjoyed our stay! The only mild concerns are the limited amount of washrooms, and at the evening shows, it was often hard to find a waiter to order drinks. The resort was beautiful. Everything was very clean. Food was delicious and everyone very friendly."

"We had a great time at the property. The food was good, not special, but good at all locations. Way too many people for us, too busy at the pools, but not the hotel's fault. The hotel was nicely renovated, and the room was very nice. Need to do better work on cleaning the pool areas, Bird poop, and food not being cleaned up. Need more service around the pool and beach area. Gym to small for the size of the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and week at Riu Flamingo."

"Positives: The setting was very picturesque and romantic. Room and view was amazing, private beach was perfect, strolling between all the pools was very relaxing, cafe was great for coffee, interior design modern and hotel recently renovated. The staff was soooo nice! Negatives: The food was just ok (definitely Blaze was the best, esp for breakfast), and there was a lack of adult ‘sexy spaces’. No night club. Bars only at the pool and sports bar, and the DJ didn’t show up on Saturday night. We were in bed by 10:30, which is not usually what we want on vacation."

"The hotel and staff are nice and its food is excellent, but the layout and signage of the hotel is not very good. There are not that many elevators and not all of them take you to all the floors. Also, the bathrooms in the rooms are very small and uncomfortable although the rooms are big. They keep the housekeeping in the rooms to the bare minimum (make the bed and take the trash out) but they don't really clean well. If you enjoy the beach, don't choose this hotel. It is very rocky, not safe and very small area. We had a good experience with the staff (Sheyla Gomez, Levy, Stephanie) but we would not go back."

"We really enjoyed the daily events they have for guests. We love music, and every night they had a show with music to dance. The Restaurants were excellent, especially the a la cart. The staff was excellent but I want make a special comment about Jose our Concierge, he really impressed us and went above and beyond to make pur stay wonderful. He booked all or Dinners and kept us informed on the events for the day. Every time we approached him with questions, he was so nice and helped us. He is truly an excellent Concierge. Also, the cheff Raul went above and beyond to prepare our Chilaquiles to our taste. Bravo one of the Bell Boys was very helpful and nice."
