"We are a group of 6 senior people we want the hotel close to everything so we don't have to rent a car, and this hotel was perfect for what we need liked that the hotel was right in the center. It is an old building but remodeled with new bathroom very nice and clean It’s only a short walking distance to most major attraction,Tibet Basin, the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King. Room was very large and have separate bathroom kitchen and big refrigerator staff very friendly and helpful when you asking for information they go out of their way to help you. Everything is excellent and I would come back again next year and recommend it for friend."

"The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The access to the rooftop bar was such a lovely perk. The room was well maintained and efficient for the space. An excellent place to stay, whether in town for a concert at Capital One Arena a block away, or hopping on the Chinatown Metro to any other destination in DC. Any time we ran into hotel staff, they were personable and helpful! We will certainly be staying here on our next DC venture."

"Arrived late by car. All garages nearby were closed and the reception staff were zero help in advising where I could park (hotel has no parking). Of the two elevators only one was working so delays in getting an elevator from the 5th floor to lobby in the morning was arduous. Saw an elevator service man later that day and he stated that the elevators were shot and both needed replacing. I was in room 509, which was tiny. The view from the bedroom window and bathroom window was a brick wall from the next door building approx 18” from the window. Staff are unfriendly. I would not stay here again."

"Check-in felt very rushed and we were given a room between the electrical closet and the "telephone" room. We were charged $200 for "amenities" with no explanation of what those were and when a $70 charge appeared on my credit card, I was told it was for the Amenities like Water in the room (which is not even Spring Water), premium WiFi (which had warnings of it being very insecure so I did not use it) and a complimentary Cocktail (who knew??). $35/day for "Amenities" was not worth it. On the positive side... the hotel is attractive, the restaurant is nice and the location great"
