"Our first trip to DC. We stayed in a corner room that was very comfortable. The room (and location) made it a perfect place to anchor various trips out to explore. We mostly walked to many of the attractions and found the Moxey to be a comfortable place to return and hang out until our next excursion. Very nice, highly recommended."

However, I would be remiss not to give a specific shout out to Sarah in the International Lounge. She was so pleasant, and welcoming each night. "We stayed at this hotel for a family trip, but had a serious issue during our stay. On the second day, the bathroom ceiling developed a large water bubble which suddenly burst and released a significant amount of water directly onto my 8-year-old child. It was a very distressing situation. We have video evidence recorded immediately after the incident showing water continuing to flow from the ceiling. The source of the water was unclear, which raised hygiene concerns as it could have come from plumbing or drainage systems. While the hotel changed our room, the overall response was not adequate. The only compensation offered was a one-day parking refund, which did not reflect the seriousness of the incident. I strongly recommend the hotel review its maintenance and response standards. This experience significantly impacted our stay."
