Our bags were left in the lobby unattended, I had to climb stairs with our luggage to get out of the property. While trying to rest, a loud noise started in our bathroom sounded like somebody was coming through the wall. I went to call the front desk and found that the phone did not have a cord connecting the handset to the base. The front desk manager did call offered us breakfast in the morning, but we were leaving too early to take advantage. Because we bought our room through Expedia no discount or compensation could be made to our bill

One of Toronto's most special and most iconic hotels, for good reason. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was great (and very quiet which surprised us given that it's right downtown). We felt pampered and enjoyed our stay very much.
