"Me and my girlfriend stayed at the property for 5 days in the middle of June and loved it. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and always ready to help with any query. Ism was particularly nice. Our room was nice with a good bed and air conditioning - although was on the other side of the room so did get a little warm but nothing too bad. Breakfast is very good and fills you up for hours and the tea is amazing. Location is just off a market street but still quiet and if you're doing daytrips to the desert/atlas mountains then the pickup point is a nearby roundabout. Wifi was a little slow at times but not the end of the world. They had a new tablet system whilst we were there that wasn't 100% working while we stayed but the staff were accommodating for what we were booking anyway. Would recommend the Hamman and massage as well as the cooking class. Had a great time. "

"The members of staff always had a smile, they were friendly and welcoming. The riad was a delight and a proper introduction to Moroccan architecture. The restaurants and its decor were so inviting with their locations within the property strategic, one at the ground floor close to the pool and the other at the rooftop. The room was okay, with the weather temperature of over 40 degrees Celsius, the ac in the room was cool and a delight to return after venturing outside. I loved the decor all around the property and would love to visit again."

"We wanted to get a more local feel to our four night trip to Marrakesh, so opted to stay in a riad rather than a hotel. We are pleased that we chose the Riad Azrur for our stay. Ibrahim, who manages the riad on a day to day basis was a great host and a source of information. Ibrahim helped us download and install the Maps.me app which has offline maps of Marrakesh. The riad isn't accessible to cars. We were in the room Bab Aylan. The room is en-suite and the bedroom is air conditioned. There is a safe in the room for your personal belongings. There's no TV in the bedroom, but there is one available in the common area off the courtyard. The bedroom window faced the wall on the other side of the alley, but let in enough light and didn't feel obtrusive. The one downside was that the shower would run hot and cold, but wasn't a problem once you got used to it. The private roof terrace has 4 sunbeds and two seating areas and an outdoor shower. Also on this floor is a massage room and indoor toilet and shower. The riad was within 30 minutes walk of all the major sights, many of which required walking through the souks (so the mapping app proved essential to avoid getting lost and worked very well offline). Ibrahim arranged for our transport back to the airport and it was nice of him to also send us a message after we got home, hoping we had a safe trip. I highly recommend this riad for a relaxing home from home experience."
