"Overall, our stay was fine. A couple of disappointments. The swimming pool was unusable because the space was rented for a private gathering. Also, the rooms are very small. That’s not a big problem. They were very clean and functional."

Only issue we have is common among Europe…what’s up with these half covered showers that force you to squeeze yourself close to the shower head (or risk wetting the bathroom floor). Don’t Europeans take showers where they splash beyond half of the tub length? It makes showering a non-relaxing experience as you have to always be mindful where the water is going…"
"Great place to stay, friendly and helpful staff. Property is very clean, rooms are well appointed. Located a 5min walk from Maria Christina metro station allowing you access to all parts of Barcelona via a very clean and efficient subway system. Across the street from the hotel there are at least 5 different cafes where you will have a choice of sandwiches and excellent pastries at a very reasonable price. "
"I have stayed at this hotel over the last few years. Staff and service is wonderful; good food and spacious clean rooms and lovely pool area. Free convenient airport shuttle. This year it appears the hotel needs a little bit of freshening up in hallways and rooms to bring it back up to excellent. Perfectly comfortable safe and clean but some wear and tear showing. Give it love it deserves. Will continue to stay here."
"This was a great property. The rooms were like new with plenty of light, the hallways were quiet and the mattress was comfortable. I would recommend paying for breakfast - you can see food being prepared with fresh ingredients right in front of you. I loved the outdoor patio area but never made it up to the pool. I bought some Cokes and the staff kept them for me in a fridge behind the desk since there were no fridges in the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful in answering questions and calling for taxis. I loved the large walk-in shower. Bar Canete nearby is a fantastic place for dinner. I will definitely stay here the next time I visit Barcelona."
