"I didn't eat the breakfast but the stay was enjoyable. I didn't expect the rooms to be that small, coming from the USA we're used to more space but regardless, i slept well and enjoyed the property. I love it, and i will be returning (to a bigger room ofc). The locals PERFECT for me. Best stay in canary wharf imo. "

"Our first room was filthy- the ‘cleaning rag’ was even left in the bathroom which turned out to be a dirty pillow case. Was moved to a different room and was told we would have that room for the remainder of our stay. However, was told the next morning we had to move and was left without a room for the day until after 3pm. The put up bed for my 7 year old was not in the room. Took us telling reception 3 times and it was eventually brought to the room at 8:30pm. Very outdated rooms and not as expected. Breakfast also not worth the money. Reception staff unhelpful."

"Wonderful location with just a couple minute walk to Russell Square Station (Picadilly Line). The room was clean and a decent size for London. Breakfast buffet was delicious and good value. Just be careful with the shower flooding because the water pressure was too much to handle all at once for the drain. There is luggage storage which is great but was annoyed that I had to take out and toss my sealed water bottle I just bought out of my backpack pocket in order to store."

"Room was clean and had everything we needed. Couldn’t beat the location, very walkable to many different attractions or to the underground station, for anything a little further out. Would definitely stay again."

"I have stayed in this hotel three times now. The first stay was beyond excellent, the second not so much. But this third time was pretty good once I'd managed to check in (they weren't having an early check-in, beyond giving me an accessible room which I didn't need or something in the basement), but I was pretty happy with where they finally put me as it was very quiet and I slept well. The breakfast was good and I appreciated the free drink. If I run London next year then I will probably want to return for a fourth time."

"Stylish, well-functioning - a relaxing oasis on Shoreditch high street. My go-to hotel in London. Some staff seemed very new this time (we found it difficult to order a cup of coffee up to the room - called front desk and the first time what arrived was bags of instant) but all tried and were super friendly.
