"The hotel is excellently located, above the yellow subway lines and close to Central Park.
The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and generally well maintained.
However, the air conditioning is unacceptable, and in the New York heat it becomes unbearable, it is simply not possible to stay or sleep in the room. There is no minibar, a basic amenity, which makes it difficult to manage even basic needs such as having cold drinking water. There is no provision of drinking water and no service that supports the room or the overall stay.
I would also note that the staff is not welcoming, and the lobby and its service feel more like an information desk at Grand Central than a hotel.
All of this comes at excessively high prices, comparable to a five star hotel, while in reality it barely deserves 2.5 stars. Not recommended."
