This could be a nice hotel but staff aren't very welcoming or knowledgeable. Filthy mattress covering, curtains in restaurant at breakfast all stained and dirty, 40 minute wait after ordering breakfast just not good enough

Safety of travellers not a concern for this hotel

I arrived and got told I hadn’t paid. So after spending 15 minutes proving I had paid all they said was ‘the company haven’t sent the details across’ so I didn’t get my 20% off food/drink either. The room was basic but thought it would be ok for the night - I was wrong. I had a drunk person with 2 other people trying to enter my room, scaring me so much that I was petrified. The reception had given them a key to get into my room - no health and safety considerations given to single female travellers staying with them. I tried calling the reception number and there was no answer so I sent them an email to which I got a very poor reply - I was literally shaking and they did nothing to make sure I was safe. I will be taking this further when I return to the country. Then after not sleeping because I was worried someone else would come into the room, I checked out to be told I had to pay a bar bill - seriously! I ate in the restaurant, paid by cash (with receipt) and then went to the room - look at the drunk who the hotel gave access to my room - I’m not paying for someone else’s mistake - the gentleman on reception made me feel like I was lying too which wasn’t a pleasant experience. I don’t think I would ever stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone after the way I was treated

Overall, great hotel and team.

Great hotel, easy to find. Staff are all very polite. Rooms seem good and clean. Overall, I'd definitely stay again. Room and meal prices were ok. Breakfast prices are a bit excessive.

Rip off food

The breakfast was disguisting, and highly priced. I ordered smoked salmon and scrambled egg on a multi seeded bagel. Cost was 17.50 !!! One plain burnt bagel, scrammbled egg never seen anything like it. Must of been microwaved several times coulsnt eat it and smoked salmom could hardly see it.

You can hear everything

First room the curtains wouldn't close, so was helpfully transferred to another room. That one was above someone with a howling dog in their room and the floors were so unbelievably thin that it meant a bad nights sleep. Friendly staff but wouldn't stay again.

Little Gem near Heathrow

Excellent hotel and ideal for T5, less than a 10 minute drive away. Reception on arrival was warm and pleasant, as was all the staff throughout our stay. The hotel has 55 rooms. Those in the main building have an outside seating/balcony area. Our room was one of the 4 out back in the annex. The rooms are a good size, clean, modern and equipped for a short stay. Wi-Fi works well. The hotel has a dinning facility (we arrived late so did not eat) and a big bar area to relax in. Breakfast in the morning is a cooked option with cold self service items to the side. For a hotel so close to Heathrow its a great bargain, and free parking too!

It’s was a lovely stay. Struggled to get an Uber to the hotel but managed to get a bus and walked. Had a wait to receive extra milk and coffee and then didn’t bring the right amounts I asked but this was rectified. Communication is key and the staff were accommodating friendly and hospitable. Non the less I had a pleasant experience and will certainly visit and stay again.

Delightful place to overnight

We were extremely pleased with our stay at The Stanwell Heathrow. The staff was extremely responsive, and the facilities were sparkling clean. We had the fish and chips for dinner and it was excellent. The breakfast was very tasty and delivered quickly. Overall an excellent stay.
