"Excellent hotel. Very good bedroom and shower. Particularly impressive food...both room service and breakfast. Good rooftop pool. The hotel is situared in the middle of a safe but indifferent area about a 15 mknute Uber away from typical visitor sites...so don't expect views if of the,Taj Mahal from your gdrolm"

"The Astor is a nice hotel but there is NO ELEVATOR. The room on the second floor is a.lot.of steps. If you have mobility issues, a heart condition etc. do not book the Astor."

"This property is in Park street which is old city of Kolkata. Area around property is too noisy and dirty every where people and people no place even to walk. People just throw garbage everywhere and keep splitting everywhere no place to walk without splits. How people don’t have common sense they clean their faces but makes streets dirty. Regarding property it was old houses that converted in hotel, whole staff was very good they can cook breakfast and dinner on demands, make tea and coffee. Staff was honest. There is common area where you can dine in, inside room it was clean but bed sheets and towels was old and tear. Rest hot water was available. To be honest my family didn’t like Kolkata due to people everywhere spitting and throwing garbage and city is very very dirty and too much smoke. We visited Kalimatta temple where the Pandits made this place as business they forced us to buy their services else not allowed to enter temple these Pandits said it’s thier temple and go away if you don’t pay so we said sorry and return without going inside temple. Taxi drivers are good and never charged anything extra.In sort there are many places to visit on earth but don’t go Kolkata again or never recommended this place to visit as tourists. "

"Aauris is a centrally located hotel. That makes it a winner. They have tried to fit in a nice room into a small space. Facilities are good. Service is good too. Best for executives travelling to the center of the city on work. Can be ok for a couple. We chose it for 3 adults - a couple + (adult) daughter. Better to forewarn the room is v small for 3 people - hope this helps future travellers. "
