We spent two weeks at base Stkilda and enjoyed our stay! Paid extra for a private double room but was well worth the money, large bed and bathroom and plenty of room for clothing but sadly no wardrobe. The room linen didn't get changed for the whole two weeks which was disappointing but could get clean towels everyday which was great. Excellent location of you want be away from the busy city and a 1minutue walk to beautiful St Kilda beach and the Penguins at the end of the pier. Kitchen was...

Fantastic hotel in Melbourne. Great location, clean rooms. Could not thank the staff more for how helpful they were. We arrived from the UK 7am and went to the hotel to just see if we could drop our bags for the day till check in. They luckily had a room already ready and let us just get entry right there and then. We only had 2 days in Melbourne so the ability to be able to rest for a bit and refresh really made our trip. Thank you so much!!

Very convenient to the CBD and all that Melbourne has to offer, yet far enough out to be relatively quiet. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially when I had an issue with a lost head towel .The hotel is simple in what it offers , clean tidy rooms of a good size but no frills. But that is not a criticism more an observation as for a budget Traveller it is a perfect hotel . Very close to the hotel are excellent cafes, coffee shops, Restaurants and only a 5min walk to the...
