Top St. Agnes Hotel Reviews
The St Ives Bay Hotel
"The location was fab"
The Alverton
"Wonderful hotel with such a beautiful setting in Truro! Would thoroughly recommend!"
The Falmouth Hotel
"Lovely hotel , traditional style which we like but with clean and modern furnishings. Lift was out of order which was unfortunate as I have a knee injury! Nobodyโs fault, apparently part is on order and should be fixed soon. No baked beans with cooked breakfast to my husbands disappointment! Complimentary bottle of fizz for our wedding anniversary which was a lovely touch, thank you. Staff friendly and attentive."
Tregenna Castle Resort
"Expansive property. RESORT Long steep walk into town. Safe with guard/ code entry, and code for walking path entry. Town will be touristy. Study where to go first. Eat your ice cream in the evening when seagulls go to bed. Quickly addressed problems were towel warmers didn't turn on. Key broke off in lock. Old building problems."
Great Western Hotel
"Just returned from a short but sweet stay at the Great Western Newquay at the beginning of September. Having stayed previously, i generally knew what to expect, although this time it was apparent that the wear and tear of many busy summers had really caught up with the place and it is all in need of a serious refurbishment. The public areas such as the stairwells, corridors and reception areas in particular are like a throwback to decades past. The location is great and has to to be the hotels biggest selling points. There are many rooms that will have sea views, as well as the bar and restaurant areas all having great views too. The hotel is just far enough away from some of the more "lively" parts of Newquay, that if you end up with a road side room at the front of the hotel, theres less chance you'll be disturbed than some other hotels a little further down. It's also close enough to plenty of other eating areas and a short walk to the town centre to not be considered ti be "out of the way" in any shape or form and ofcourse minutes from both Great Western and Tolcarn beaches. Furthermore there is a bus stop directly outside the front of the property with services towards Padstow, Newquay Airport, St Austell and Truro. Additionally, Newquay railway station is just a 2 minute walk over the road as well! We stayed in a sea view room overlooking the Great Western beach. The views are of course delightful. The room itself was very clean and although very dated well kept."
The Queens Hotel
"Wonderful stay at the Queens Hotel, made even better by Firuze on the team who looked after us so well. She was so kind, attentive, and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. That kind of genuine care really makes a difference and turned a good stay into a great one. Highly recommend!"
The Esplanade Hotel
"Other than a very slight odd smell in the room every other aspect of the hotel was amazing. Great helpful staff and wonderful location."
The Beresford Hotel
"Get what you pay for all good"
Penventon Park Hotel
"Great friendly hotel. Room was big and spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very tasty"
