The room was huge with a fantastic period atmosphere but every modern convenience (roll-top bath, huge separate shower, twin sinks, extremely comfortable king-size bed, storage etc). Staff were great. We ate both in the evening and breakfast. All great. Our best stay anywhere in the country for years!"

Our air con was a little noisy but we only stayed the one night so didn't mention it. The wait for elevators can be long during peak periods. Would definitely stay here again though. "
