The Hotel Margherita was recommended to us by a friend who visited last year and I am delighted to say that we found that his glowing report was not an exaggeration. On arrival the friendly staff came out, took the luggage up to the room and parked the car in the garage. We had booked a room with a sea view and on reaching our room we were greeted with a delightful panoramic view of the coast and the surrounding headland. Our air conditioned room was tastefully decorated, and with the full...

Very nice Hotel, easy walk to Town square, railway station restaurants and bars. Stunning views ,staff polite courteous ,friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The Hotel staff demonstrated their honest commitment to their guests when they found our passports left in the room safe after we checked out and were on our way to the airport. They immediately...

Stayed for 1 week in October 2016 on a bed and breakfast basis. Chose hotel for its proximity both to the facilities of Sorrento and the outlook over the Bay of Naples. A 5 - 10 minute level walk leads you to the many bars, restaurants and shops that the town has to offer. It's also close to the bus and Circumvesuviana train stations from which the city of Naples, tours to Mount Vesuvius, the Amalfi coast and the ruins at Pompei and Herculaneum can be easily (and cheaply) accessed. The hotel...

This hotel should be a 4 star... even though this hotel doesn’t have a pool and spa facilities, you CANNOT fault this hotel. It was slap bang in the middle the old town, there was a fantastic restaurant next door as well as a quirky cafe. The rooms were so modern and ABSOLUTELY spotless. You could literally lick the floor (if you’re into that kind of thing! Lol). I must say, the mood lighting was my personal favourite. You could turn your room lights from red, to blue, purple etc etc. It...

What an incredible view this was a perfect hotel to look out over the bay. There was a regular bus down to the town and a 20 min walk so we walked down and took the bus back. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Very happy with our four night stay. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony and sea view which was brilliant. The hotel is an easy, 10 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento which has excellent connections for further afield and a good range of restaurants, shops and such like to choose from for a short visit. Breakfasts at the hotel were very good with a wide selection buffet service, especially the cooked to order omelettes! Staff were very friendly and helpful and offered good advice about...

This is a very lovely hotel (don't be fooled by its name - it's no hostel!) which has everything you need. Tasty breakfast, rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Great hospitality from the staff. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat, and will not hesitate to stay here again!

My second time in Sorrento and it only gets better. We just had a basic room but could not fault a thing. Hotel has amazing views with regular transport to Sorrento centre which takes about 5 mins. Though we did walk a few times and takes about 15 mins. Staff could not do more for you and good that we had in hotel was 1st class. A wonderful sample of Italian culture

Very accommodating and helpful host. The rooms are large. The only downsize is there was no safe storage room for luggage. A

Highly recommended. Very friendly helpful staff. Place was spotless. Rooms after servicing were immaculate. Breakfast was good not brilliant

Lovely property and the team were so helpful during our stay , some of the best service we have had as well as them bookings us in at one the few restaurant that was open. The breakfast is varied and amazing, we had an early checkout and even supplied the breakfast early for my partner who is pregnant to ensure she had something to eat. The view was beautiful from the room and will definitely stay here again for sure!

Wonderful, friendly and happy hotel! Very welcoming people, amazing views from the pool and the rooms. The VW beetle which we borrowed was amazing. It is easy to explore Positano from the hotel and the staff explained very well where we should go.
