"The owners were very helpful navigating the area, including a ride to the airport when it was time to leave. The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was recently updated."

"The room can be improved to ensuite. Presently, shared toilet and shower and if one is badly pressed and the toilet is occupied (and it happened a couple of times), one is in a big trouble.
It was advertised as bed and breakfast, but there was no breakfast provided.
Mim was very courteous and was very polite nevertheless."

"Hotel does what it needs to do. It’s clean and tidy. Breakfast area a bit like a canteen.
It could do with a better pub as the London pub is not relaxing to sit in after a long day out walking and is aimed at the younger generation. Could do with another bar for guests that would like to relax."
"Great location for accessing all of London. Easy walk to many places and the tube is just right down the street at Victoria Station. Easy to and from Heathrow when coming and going."
"Room was a little small but clean. Would have been nice to have a fridge. However, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the porter service was vey kind and dapper. The location is prime and easily accessible for walking around Covent Garden, Westminster and the West End"
"The hotel was perfect for our stay (Theatre show and Hyde Park concert). It’s right next to the park and Marble Arch tube. It felt busy but not cramped, we got a table for breakfast in a couple of minutes. The room (deluxe king) was a reasonable size, huge bed, good shower. The lights were a bit annoying (one by the bed turned everything off and on, making a trip to the bathroom difficult). Room had a mini-fridge, iron, etc. Breakfast was a buffet but they had lots of staff and an omelette station. The whole hotel is rock and roll themed which makes it quirky. It was quite pricey for what it is, but I think £300+ a night is standard for London weekends now."
"I always stay here on weekend trips up to London. Great safe location, close to tube and road networks. Hotel is perfectly adequate, not necessarily high end but is comfortable and reasonably priced with everything you need there or very near by. Can’t really fault it at all and would always recommend."
"The room we stayed in had a beautiful view of the Tower bridge. However due to the heat and lack of air conditioning it got very warm if the blinds were kept open after 10 or 11 until the sun went down very late. The room was stuffy when we arrived and we had to request a fan. It’s a shame that the heat caused us to lose our view for a great deal of time, as you pay extra for that. We were also surprised there was no small fridge so we had no cold drinks most of our trip. The downstairs entry was air conditioned but due to construction it felt very blocked off and small. We checked in ourselves from a kiosk and had no interaction with staff until our departure.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a beautiful view when we had it and close to a metro station. Just avoid during heatwaves if you need air conditioning.
Also on our first night there it was extremely loud outside, like a concert was going on.
Fortunately the following nights were more quiet and the fan drowned out some of the noise from below."
"Impressively clean in pod and in communal areas like the showers, toilets etc. Air handling system was a bit noisyon a night but it didn't bother me too miuch and kept the pod a very comfortable temp/humidity during a warm spell. Decent reasonable priced coffee machine but expensive vending machine."
"First time staying at The President and was really impressed. The staff were lovely, the room was clean and well equipped and the breakfast was excellent. The location was ideal for exploring London on foot, but there is a tube staton and bus nearby. The area around Russell Square is lovely, and benefits from being not in the middle of the tourist hub-but. I will definitely be staying here agin in the future."
