"Hotel was clean. Staff were friendly. Waited until last day to sit in the hot tub, but they had it closed for maintenance. Quick and easy to get to Universal by way of a free shuttle. "

"Theres no insulation in the building, so you can hear EVERYTHING...people walking outside, casual conversation by your neighbors, stairs down the hall, EVERYTHING. "

"The continental (free) breakfast was pretty good - nothing fancy, but good and satisfying. Room was clean and cleaning staff very friendly. Appreciated the free UBER to Westwood Village and to the Getty. Front desk was friendly as well. Did not get to use the amenities, unfortunately, but did have time in the restaurant upstairs (very nice!). "

"The Garland was such a lively and fun place to stay. We stayed at two hotels during our trip, and I’m really glad this was one of them. The energy was great and the events they hosted were awesome. The pool and fitness center were really nice, and the room had a cool, groovy design while still being super comfortable. The trolley to Universal was one of my favorite parts. It was so cute and made getting there really easy. The restaurants both looked great, and I loved the store too. Everything felt thoughtful and well done. I would definitely stay here again."

"The room was very clean and new! Sunny, the daytime contact was super! The neighbors hood was sketchy but the property was very protected. The shower doors wouldn’t stay shut, there was no tv in the room, no trash can except for bathroom. Parking was something to be desired. We had to buy a fan because the room was hot and you can’t control the air. If you wanted clean towels, you had to wash your own ( very strange)."
