"Everything was great, starting from housekeeping Ashrif, to the receptionists Ahmed and Medhat. As well as the breakfast area servers , also security guards. Staff in general were polite and friendly. All in all was perfect, my Father and myself do enjoy our stay a lot. Will definitely stay here on our upcoming visits to Cairo. "The best and safe location in Cairo. When in Cairo, hotel location is a must. The hotel is very conveniently located, across the old Egyptian Museum. This is where you need to be if it's your first time. Turn left as you get out the hotel and that will take you everything you need from dining, shopping, souvenirs. One piece of advise, do not engage a conversation when someone approach you in the corner or alone the shopping lanes. Otherwise, Steingenberger has the best service, front desk, room, dining staff and even the sales staff in the mini shop. Enjoy!"

"Rooms were good for the price paid, checking was quick, very nice & helpful people. Only drawback was Expedia on website states free transportation to & from airport but the hotel provides only one way free and charges $25 for return which actually covers the cost of both ways, so it’s not free. But besides this everything is good about this hotel. It’s right across from pyramids so the view is top good. Hospitality is superb."

"Pros: 1. Staff helpful and kind 2. Hotel accommodating with late check-in and out due to flight delays 3. All meals were delicious 4.Enjoyed the balcony suite with pyramid views Cons: 1.Some items on menu were not available 2. The tub is a beautiful addition to have in the suite, but the water only gets lukewarm, not hot at all like the shower in the bathroom. After an all day safari, I wanted to soak my muscles, but could not take a bath as the water would be cold, by the time it would be filled."
