Top Sequoia National Park Hotel Reviews

Wuksachi Lodge

Wuksachi Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Clean room, quiet at night. As explained beforehand to travelers, the actual lodges are uphill and if you are on the top level rooms, it's quite a bit of exercise. We found that no problem since we are in good shape. If you are physically limited, ask for a lower room. The Peaks Restaurant was very good with great servers. Be sure to reserve ahead of time that day for your evening meal. They really book up for dinner. The pizzas are a big hit for folks as well, with a nice deck to sit out and take in the peaks in the golden alpenglow."

"Excellent staff, nice facility. Great food at the restaurant nearby. Parking is pretty limited though at the lodge itself. The lodge is close to all the good old giant trees! The Park Visitor Center is also top notch there."

"Great location by the Kings River. Close to good hikes and waterfalls. The building and facilities are a little older, but just fine. Eating options pretty limited, but nice market on-site."

Stony Creek Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Great location with easy access to both Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The night sky is beautiful, and you can see countless stars on a clear night. For a lodge this close to the national parks, you shouldn’t expect luxury, but Stony Creek Lodge exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was surprisingly good. The breakfast was easily comparable to, if not better than, what you’d get at some major budget hotel chains. Overall, a great place to stay when visiting the parks!"

"Property was very nice. It is rural and you can see the stars at night. The house is very spacious and clean. The only issue was that the air conditioner unit didn’t work well and didn’t cool off the house until the middle of the night and it was very hot in the house - 82 degrees. Other than that, it was a perfect stay."
