"We arrived late at night to a dirty room, both beds had been used, trash on the trash can and a funny smell. Front desk was closed so we couldn’t request a clean room. Very disappointed. "

"Comfy enough. Close to restaurant. Right on main highway so a bit of sound. No staff was around during breakfast, which seemed odd. "

"My husband got the best sleep of our 7-day road trip and said that the Bristlecone Motel bed was better than any of the other motels we stayed at. Brewed Awakening, located just across the street, is a great spot for a quick breakfast. We both had their homemade cinnamon rolls."

"This place can be called "rustic." The room is tiny, but functional. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed. But the location is awesome! Just minutes from Kings Canyon. A longer drive to Sequoia. Surrounded by the foothills of the Sierras. Gena is a delight, the restaurant is great."

"Overnight stay on way to Yosemite. The bar and restaurant staff were very freindly and efficient - made us feel at home."
