"This place can be called "rustic." The room is tiny, but functional. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed. But the location is awesome! Just minutes from Kings Canyon. A longer drive to Sequoia. Surrounded by the foothills of the Sierras. Gena is a delight, the restaurant is great."

"A very distinctive, family owned and managed property close to Sequoia National Park. Dog-friendly is an understatement; they’re one of the rare breed that doesn’t charge a pet fee. The staff is marvelous — friendly, helpful, informative. The property is in the process of being upgraded, and by the summer should be in 5-star condition. "

"No hot water. Below luke warm. Tv satellite would not catch signal. Bathroom circuit was tripped off so the GFI that ran the stationary hair dryer and coffee pot did not function. Toilet tank leaking so that it kept filling up making the annoying noise of it filling constantly. Fridge froze our salad and food making the salad bad . Greek salad from pizza factory that I really wanted. Garbadge service when I called for assistance. "

"Andrea the host was amazing and incredibly friendly. We really appreciate her being so welcoming and caring. The home was cozy, warm and beautiful. Loved all the space and how clean everything was. They privided wood to keep us extra warm. The view was beautiful. "
