"Room was clean and comfortable. Access to the internet was good and unexpected. Staff was friendly and responsive. Food service and quality was good. One issue was the heater did not work properly."

"The staff was very nice and helpful. Cozy lodge convenient location. The only downside was that there is no good restaurant on location. The only restaurant around is next to the visitor center and has terrible service. Everyone was frustrated over the long wait and rudeness of the waitresses there. I don't blame the lidge for this just wanted to mention it."
Sequoia Resort

"We didn't get to spend a lot of time at the property. We arrived late our first night and spent the entire day in Sequoia the next day. Basically, we just slept there. We had the guest suite near the office. It was quiet and clean. It had a kitchenette to cook with. There is no nearby food options - so stop at a grocery store first. Our host was lovely, she shared some tips for being in the higher elevation and getting to/from the park. Would totally stay here again with the plan of enjoying the property more."
Stony Creek Lodge

"Stony Creek Lodge is a rustic, older national park property, not a resort, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check-in at the market counter was quick, and electronic key cards provided access to our room and the exterior entrance. Our clean, tidy room had a queen bed, a twin bed, a large dresser, bedside tables, plenty of lighting, and a ceiling fan. The bathroom was simple, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Most rooms are upstairs, so keep that in mind when booking. The included breakfast was generous: eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, rotating meats and potatoes, plus breads, pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, and coffee. We certainly didnโt go hungry! The loungeโs self-serve coffee and tea station was especially welcome before breakfast opened at 8 a.m. The snack bar offered made-to-order pizzas and salads, though hours varied during our stay. Staff were helpful and welcoming. They gave us advance notice of a two-hour water shutoff for repairs, allowing us to clean up before dinner. The lodge uses generator power, and we were also notified of a brief daytime interruption that didnโt affect our plans. Come with realistic expectations for a rustic lodge, and youโll find a comfortable, welcoming base with the terrific convenience of staying inside the national park."
Creekside Cabin ~ 26 Miles to Kings Canyon!

"Very nice cabin for the cost. Clean and a great place to stay. Very very remote area and takes along drive from any direction to get to it. No markets or restaurants any where close. Make sure you have plenty of gas in the tank and take all your foods n drinks. Host is great and communicates quickly to any questions or issues."

"Its a rustic room. It was clean and had ample room. Itโs self check-in so I had no personal conversations with staff. The other guests seemed very nice. Yes, there are little things but we really enjoyed the time there. Itโs quiet and easy to relax. We used it as a base camp for trips to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks"
