"Great thing about this lodge is that it is inside the park. Also, there is a gas station on the property. The amenities are super basic. The breakfast can be made better with little effort. The bananas were ripe and black!
The rooms are good. The staff are friendly."
"We had a delightful stay. The room and property was super clean. It was located right on the river with a beautiful view and plenty of lounge chairs and picnic tables to relax and enjoy. They have a great market and restaurant on site with lots of food options. Staff was great, super friendly and helpful; in a location look perfect for exploring Kings canyon."
"I have stayed at Western Holiday Lodge in Three Rivers in the past without incident and found it to be a mediocre stay. However, that time I did not need to interact with the staff. This time, we arrived a day early and wanted to add an additional night to our stay. It took a very long time for them to check us in and regardless of us being there two nights, they set up our key cards to lock us out of our rooms on the morning of the second day. Even after explaining the situation, they made one of us leave our room entirely while they cleaned it, which was what we were trying to avoid by booking two nights at the same hotel. Upon our departure we forgot something and they left it outside where anyone could have taken it, rather than keeping it in the office as we requested. It was also like pulling teeth to get a receipt for the stay. It's a pretty mediocre place to begin with but the staff make it far worse."
