"I've stayed at numerous locations around Salem over the years. This hotel is my new favorite. It is perfectly situated on Essex street. We stayed in a micro king which was was really cool. The bed was a little raised and surrounded by windows so we felt like we were in a tree house. We could sit in the windows and look over the city. The town hall was right behind us. The food at the rooftop bar was really good and the views were great. The hotel staff actually called me, the day before to welcome me. I have never received service like that and I've done a lot of traveling. Everything was great. The only thing I didn't care for and this is the sliding bathroom door. I'm not a fan of those as they offer 0 privacy. But I would stay here again even with that door. Great place, great staff, great food. Excellent location.. you literally couldn't get a better spot in Salem. "
