"Staff were exceptionally helpful. Took our luggage up the stairs and were waiting for us when we arrived. Welcomed warmly by the manager and once checked in felt like home away from home! We didn’t do kayaking but available if you intend to do so. Private baths or outside baths available which we took advantage of. Possibly for some guests may find the property a bit older but was adequate for what we wanted. View you get makes up for it. I’d certainly return to this place if I’m ever in Fuji-san area again. "

"Our stay was great. The staff was great. It was raining but we still had a great time. The room felt huge and was comfortable with heat and air. The curtains worked great. It's great to have an entire grill area to yourself. Just bring some food to grill. There's a small market within walking distance (.5mile) that has things like deer sausage and veggies. There's also a restaurant next to the market. You'll have to walk to get here or take a taxi but the bus stops are about half a mile away. We only had backpacks so walking through the countryside was a nice and relaxing treat for us. "

"CLAMPING at Bulls Camp was really convenient for overnighter to the Mt Fuji area for Expo Fireworks at Fujiten Ski Resort. Not quite Camping, definitely not Glamping, the camp is situated right off of the 139 though there really was not any highway noise. The little deck and barbecue were great. We did not use the cooking facilities but there is a communal area to borrow items you may have forgotten, or need to complete a meal. The inside was plain but clean, I was really glad that the linens and towels were supplied. The showers and restroom were small but clean! Pleasantly surprised! Recommend for one or two nights’ stay. "This place was so neat! It had a very unique cottage vibe with a wonderful breakfast option. Make sure you order it before your reservation day. Warnings: This place is out in the woods with limited bus routes available. Like only 5-6 routes all day. So plan accordingly. Also, each room has its own toilet but you shares the shower/onsen room. Only one family/person uses it at a time. "
