We loved Quebec City! We walked everywhere, took a tour of Chateau Frontenac, a walking tour if the Old City, a cruise on the St Lawrence, took the funiculaire up and down to the lower city, dined in wonderful restaurants - there wasn't enough time!

Old Quebec is extremely touristy. It's the only industry. I enjoyed seeing the old buildings and learning the history, but Quebec has other vibrant neighborhoods that one should also visit. Quebec bus tours were very convenient but sights mediocre

It is a mini Europe. We liked the food, people, shops and architecture. Old town was beautiful! We went in early October and loved all the colors. My favourite activity was biking to the bridge, across the River and bringing the ferry back across.

Quebec city is beautiful with several unique attractions. The city has maintained its old world charm and we found the people friendly and helpful. We do not speak French but everyone we came across spoke good or some English. We had a great time.

We came here shortly after our wedding 46 years ago and have come back many times, once for six weeks. We love the city for so many reasons: historical architecture, French speaking neighborhoods, dining. Try Cafe du Monde for food and setting.
Many historical buildings and restaurants are within walking distance in old Quebec city. Tourists can enjoy all day without frequent driving. Further the streets of old Quebec city are steep and narrow. Driving in the area needs patience.

Chez Rioux & Pettigrew, Bistro St. Malo were stand out restaurants we experienced there, literally a stone's throw away. Cocktails at the Chateau also a good time. Carnaval of course was great, and the PeeWee tournament was quite something.
"I like that fact that we were only 20 minute drive with traffic to Montmorency Falls, 15 minutes to Old Quebec. There is pyramid mall roughly 5 minute walk from the hotel, that had couple restaurants, Starbucks, Dollarama, a pharmacy, its small but convenient. The hotel has litte shop where you can buy swimsuits, hand made necklaces, Bracelets and rings, also bath bombs and soap. The lady is very nice. Bonus there is entrance from the pool area to get into Boston Pizza. The hotel was clean staff was friendly and spoke English

"Saw the online reviews stating old and outdated. But did not find this to be true. Rooms were spacious and good water pressure in showers. Across from plains od abraham and really not that far to walk (or uber) to Old Quebec. Can take scenic walkway along river. Staff was nice and helpful. Ceil, the restaurant on top of this hotel, rotates 360 degrees for views of the city and Old Town. I would stay here again."
"Stayed with this Hotel and was impressed with it that time.
We selected a queen bed and was surprised when we discovered a king size. Enjoyed the Hot tub after a solid day driving. Easy location and wonderful hotel bit expensive but other locations were similar or more!"
