The day we arrived reception shut at 2pm, and an emergency no. was given for issues. 1st night we left our card in our room by mistake (note we were only given 1 key card where most hotels give 2) and called the emergency no. We were told someone would come to us within an hour, an hour and a half later we called again and were told someone would be there in 30 minutes. It was then past midnight, we'd been sat in the reception with the only seating a broken sofa for over 2 hours. We called a final time to be told that in fact nobody was coming and there was no way we could be given access to our room until the reception reopened at 9am the next day.
Thankfully we were offered another room for the night, however we would have much preferred to have been told this initially rather than being told to wait for over 2 hours for someone who was never actually coming. We also stressed on the phone that both of us had medications in our room that had to be taken which was completely and utterly ignored.
We understand it was our fault we left our key in the room, but God forbid yours was stolen or stopped working, you wouldn't be able to access your room until the next day because of the poor reception hours.
The next night we had to ring this number again as we had no water in our hotel room. We were told to wait an hour, and after waiting over this had to ring again, were told another 30 minutes, so was past midnight when we got water.
Wouldn't recommend. Not the cleanest either.
