Definite pluses and minuses.
Upon check in I was asked to pay the full amount of my booking when I had already paid. After I found my receipt, they spoke to the manager and said I was correct, I only owed the resort fee/tax. Other than that desk staff nice enough.
One evening at 5pm a man (presumably maintenance?) came to my room asking to come in to work on the window. He didn’t speak English and I don’t speak French, so im only assuming that was the case. This maintenance visit was not communicated to me by the front desk staff, and I’m not sure the best time to work on a non-emergency issue is when the room is in use. I declined and after an awkward pause he agreed and left.
The hotel and surrounding area is beautiful outside, but the inside of the hotel appears neglected. One elevator broken, walls/wallpaper/doors/doorframes and baseboards peeling, scuffed, chipped. Hallway carpet dirty. My room was fine.
This hotel was a 20 minute walk from Disneyland and was probably worth the money I paid for it.
