We stayed here bc hotels.com didn’t actually make my reservation when I did so we found out on the flight from Seattle to Kona that we didn’t have a place to stay. 2 stars for hotels.com bc the customer service was helpful (this time) but this is the second time this has happened. "

"The room was big with everything we needed, including a kitchenette and a Terrace. From the Terrace we could see a sliver of the ocean. The bathroom was excellent with a walk in shower. There was no AC, but multiple fans did a great job of moving the air around. A big kitchen was available outside the units, where we could cook and serve and eat a full meal. Fresh fruits and veggies were provided from the site plantation. We really appreciate that. It was very enjoyable to spend time there. "

"This was a very convenient nice place to stay. Little kitchenette was great, very clean. If you were traveling with a family would be great lots of beds and storage areas. Beautiful garden area."

"Mike was a great host and gave us easy ideas about entertaining kids. Also directions to find food and other services nearby. The place is like a dormitory, no frills, but everything you need for preparing you own food and getting a good nights rest. It’s an older lodge but everything was sparkling clean and well-maintained. I’d recommend it to friends."
