We took a gamble staying here with it being a new hotel and there being no reviews but it absolutely paid off!! We had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms are really spacious!! The photos of the hotel dont do it justice. Exquisitely beautiful and elegant hotel in a prime location in central Kyoto next to the local market and shops. 2 metro stops away from Kyoto station where you can catch the Shinkansen to Tokyo or Osaka. Stayed in the Pokémon room - fantastic experience for our 11 year old (and us). Very spacious room with dining table, sofa and bunk beds. Not a huge amount within walking distance of the hotel (although Teamlabs is a couple of minutes away), but as the name suggests it’s extremely convenient for the station and transport links. Convenient laundry room but no vending machines on site - 7-eleven is just around the corner.
