This was my first trip to Manhattan. I loved the fact that this hotel was located a short walk to Carnegie Hall, Central Park and some unique shopping. Valet parking available just next door (at a discounted price to hotel guests). The staff at The Moderne was very helpful and friendly. I appreciated the guest lounge with comfortable seating and free coffee/tea 24/7. The space itself could use some updating, but it was clean nevertheless. I would stay there again.

My stay at Moderne hotel rivaled some of the more expensive ones in the area. Basic amenities such as the coffee lounge were sufficient, considering the price. The property and room were clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The staff members were very attentive, from the front desk attendant, to the doorman and cleaning staff. The location is steps to Carnegie Hall, Central Park, subway, and decent restaurants. I’ll definitely stay at Moderne on my future visits to NYC.

Very nice boutique hotel with excellent staff. Many eating options at walking distance and close to the subway ( 7 Ave and 59 St ). Easy to get a taxi and Uber.
