"I made a booking through Hotels.com. They ssid that they are not aware of it and repeatedly asked me to pay despite the fact that I paid in advance. I was blocked by the receptionist and the guard from getting out of the premise until I paid again at the reception. They are simply stupid and greedy. I suffered a lot. "Hemingways was one of the nicest properties I’ve ever stayed at. All areas of the hotel were impeccable. Room was huge and well appointed. Staff were helpful, kind and able to accomplish anything we needed. We experienced Sunday jazz brunch, a cooking class, the spa, afternoon tea and private dining within their wine cellar. Each experience better than the next. It was difficult to have to leave to head home. Thank you hemingways for an excellent time. "

"This hotel is good but left to rot left uncared for. Lamp sheds are very very dirty never been cleaned in decades of years. Do serious cleaning on this hotel please. The bathrooms are just full of dirty. You should charge $20-------$30/night B&B for current condition of hotel I feel cheated maybe a refund as your photos were deceiving"
