"Great breakfast selection from cooked English, eggs cooked fresh to order. Along with a really well freshly stocked continental breakfast choices. Great location for travelling into the centre of town or out of town. Rooms really comfy and free complementary drinks in the mini fridge. "

"I really enjoyed my stay here. I liked that my room had a nice seating area overlooking quayside. I'm used to more budget options so I was really happy to have a fridge in my room, free WiFi and Chromecast on the TV. I'd read the reviews that mentioned that the rooms were dated and yes, they are but mine was clean and I had good quality fittings. I had breakfast one morning and as a vegan I managed to find enough to eat. I also had dinner on my first night as I saw a vegan supreme pizza on the menu and it didn't disappoint. I would definitely stay there again."

"Good location. Quite expensive for such a Small room. very hot. No a/c and windows couldn’t be opened. The hairdryer was coated in a sticky substance. I won’t be returning"

"This being our third visit to this hotel the rooms were quite good, our bed was tired, towels were worn, bathroom facilities were also tired, a good refurb would be the order of the day. It's a shame we only found out about the reduced breakfast price as well were checking out. We shall no doubt return, as this hotel is smack right where you want to be."

"Always stay here on monthly family visits to the area. So conveniently located with plenty of parking. The rooms are always spotlessly clean, the beds are great and large walk-in showers are so good. Efficient and controllable aircon make the rooms comfortable too. Staff are very welcoming and helpful with any requests. Good Pizza restaurant, but also handy for a range of eateries on Gosforth High Street."
