Everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious. There were extra touches that made our stay really special like port and chocolates, music playing when we arrived, romantic gas log fire, bottle of wine, etc. So many special touches. We will definitely be back!

Occasionally you stay in a place where the owners think of little things and take the extra effort and care to ensure you have a great stay. Mountain Lodge is one of those stays. Romantic and in a beautiful nature full setting, Julie (Joe tells me) attends the property in great detail. A beautiful breakfast is in the fridge, chilled wine on arrival, freshly baked bread at your door at daybreak are a few of the many touches that make this a great place to relax and unwind.

There`s only one word to describe this property...WOW!!! From being welcomed by Joe at the door to amazing breakfast hampers and delicious afternoon tea treats; not to mention hot showers, fluffy towels and comfy bed! We really enjoyed our stay here the breakfast and afternoon teas each day was amazing. The spa bath was beautiful. The suite was very clean and welcoming. Julie and Joe were very lovely and helpful will definitely be going back there to stay again

We loved the variety and quality of the breakfasts and the special treats the welcome bubbles on arrival. Julie and Joe are excellent hosts, who really make you feel at home - but at the same time are very discreet.

We loved our stay at Mountain lodge. Julie went above and beyond for us as we celebrated our wedding anniversary she set up the room beautifully and the abundance of food we had for breakfast was great especially the yummy homemade bread as well as the lovely home made treats that were left at our door for afternoon tea. The place was so clean and cozy and Julie was ever so helpful with anything we needed. We will definately go back again !!!!

Mountain Lodge is a perfect property for a realaxing getaway. Juile and Joe were great hosts , providing little extras like freshly baked goodies and yummy breakfasts. The rooms were very comfortable and lovely decorated with everything you need for a great stay..

The property was very well maintained and clean. Very picturesque. Upon arrival we met the owner who had already had the heater on warming our room. (Very thoughtful, thank you Julie. ) Julie knew all the best places to visit in the area and even helped us make dinner reservations. Our room was great. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh baked bread in the morning, yum. I highly recommend, that if you're planning on visiting the Dandenongs, that you visit the Mountain lodge.

Host was so accommodating, we were delayed due to car trouble and didn't get to the property until a lot later than expected, however, Julie was there waiting for us and was very understanding. The accommodation was so cosy. Everything had been though about by the hosts to make the stay perfect, from a bottle of red wine, beautiful music, candles, lit stove, bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast had been provided in the fridge and was different each morning. Including the delicious homemade treats that Julie baked and brought to us. We will definitely be booking to stay again soon in the near future. 100% recommended for a peaceful break away.
