Amazing staff, beautiful hotel, food was some of the best in Sri Lanka. Every detail was just perfect

From the moment you step into cape welligama to the moment you leave, you are being looked after by the staff with such immense care and attention to detail. The responsiveness and personalisation is excellent, and a level of service I have not encountered in any hotel before. The resort is well set up for young families, and our room had easy access to what felt like a very private swimming pool. The swimming pools are set to have great views, and we had monkeys and peacocks come to say hello....

My stay was amazing, i had a very nice welcoming by the owners of the property, very wonderful people, i enjoyed my short at the accommodation!

A quite a peaceful hotel near the sea. The staff, especially Nassin was very helpful and accommodating. Good breakfast with a great view. The hotel is a short walk to Mirissa beach which has all the bars and restaurants. Overall a good place to stay, peaceful and away from the crowd.

This is truly a lovely hotel, with a great pool and beach front. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and grounds are very well maintained. Entrance feels grand and welcome us very warm. Great kids club. Would definitely return if I had the opportunity. Only minus I experienced was the upselling (day trips, spa treatments) during breakfast. While this may work well with some of the clientele, I found this quite annoying.

Lovel peaceful hotel - slightly away from central street , but handy for beach. The benefit of being away from centre is that property was well laid out and spacious - properties closer to beach and centre appeared to be quite cramped. Hotel had all facilities you could have asked for - including kettle on 1st floor verandah. We were in no rush to leave

Such a lovely hotel located right on the beach, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be slightly outside of Hiriketiya. Due to its location it is very quiet and peaceful. There are sun loungers on the beach as well as by the pool. It is super easy to get into the main town by tuktuk or a 30 minute walk. The staff are lovely and so attentive if you need a bite to eat I would recommend their pizza which are delicious. We loved our stay here and would 100% come back!

We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big)....

We arrived to this hotel quite late in the night with family and a private driver. We were only staying for 1 night and were planning to leave straight after breakfast the next day. Staff were extremely friendly and warm and met us with big smiles. Accommodation as well as breakfast for our driver was provided free of charge. great location on the beach,fantastic beach, friendly staff, lots of ants about, not a great choice for breakfast, could do with water or juice, also boiled eggs and maybe beans
