From the moment you step into cape welligama to the moment you leave, you are being looked after by the staff with such immense care and attention to detail. The responsiveness and personalisation is excellent, and a level of service I have not encountered in any hotel before. The resort is well set up for young families, and our room had easy access to what felt like a very private swimming pool. The swimming pools are set to have great views, and we had monkeys and peacocks come to say hello....

Had a lovely stay here for 3 nights. The lady who runs it is lovely and very helpful and friendly. I took the option for breakfast and there is a selection to choose from, i was always full after. Not on the beach, but probably quieter because of that. Probably needed slightly better guidance about getting to the beach! Room and pool were great. Making up of room between our two nights was a little delayed, but we were allowed into it straight away on first arrival, despite being early. Good information on arrival. Bit odd that evening meals were not available as advised - supposedly just needed an hour's warning, but kitchen was closed by 1800 hrs on first night! Actually did us a favour...
