"My husband and I stayed at Brownwood over the weekend, while visiting my parents in The Villages. The hotel was very clean and updated. The people were very nice and friendly. The pool was spacious and beautiful. The only drawback was it is not quite walkable to Brownwood Square, but I knew that when booking. The good part is Brownwood Square is only 3 minutes, by car. This was our first time at the hotel and I would gladly return in the future. "

"A very cute downtown area near the lake had several shops open, even on Sunday morning. There was a small farmers market and we grabbed a Greta brunch at Pepe’s. The night shift hotel clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had all the necessities. We will stay here again if we return to the area "
