"Food was fairly decent, staff were all excellent. Nice clean room, lovely comfortable bed. Big clean bathroom.
However .....we couldn't get any of the radiators to work. When its single digits centigrade outside its time to fire up the central heating !! The room and bathroom was very cold, which put a real downer on our stay."

Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided.
Breakfast was excellent with a choice of items (ordered the night before). The fruit salad was fab & I can highly recommend the omelette! My husband had the full English, which he really enjoyed. Offered more tea/coffee & toast.
The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area...

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and well decorated. The breakfasts were excellent. We will certainly stay at the Furzedown next time we come to Great Yarmouth.

She showed us to room which was very well equipped and extremely clean. We had the four poster suite which was beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic served by Tony who was always very friendly and always found time for a chat offering a wide range which filled us up till the evening. Would definitely stay there again and will be recommending the Shrewsbury to family and...

All the little additions that make a great b&b are considered and make the stay special. The breakfast is good value and the service is really attentive and aimed to give you a great experience. The information they provide is also helpful but they could do with up dating some of the restaurant reccomendations which were in some cases overly optimistic in the presentation! Fab stay would thoroughly reccomend.
