"Lovely location to be based at if driving around the area. I found the check-in confusing: At the entrance an arrow and sign pointed to another entrance, but when navigating through the building to the front desk, back at the same place.. Welcome home!? Optional breakfast ok, cooked food could have been hot instead of luke warm, dining area very nice, Room and bed comfortable, shower hot water temperature kept changing."

"Dated hotel with no bar or restaurant. My single room was ok apart from the cobweb hanging from the ceiling and the shower cubicle was rather small."

"It was a good find on short notice just a minute or so from city centre. It included a kitchenette that could be very handy, and a clothes washing machine in the room! Ideal if you plan to stay a few days."

"I loved the balcony in our room. I have difficulty with walking, and a lift would have been a nice touch. However, the difficulties were overcome, and the staff were extremely good at helping and taking heavy luggage to our rooms. Many thanks. The best policy was to talk to the staff, who were delighted to help in many ways, and they were very good. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we will use this hotel again. We have no complaints, only our thanks for an extremely enjoyable time"
