"We had a lovely stay in a friendly village with lots of things to do and places to eat nearby. The cottage was perfect and had everything you could want. "
"Although technically a studio, the property felt spacious. It is well equipped with a comfortable bed. Winterton-On-Sea at Xmas was something of a leap into the unknown for us. The beaches were the preserve of the seal population, but it was a privilege to see the seals and a pleasure to walk on the dunes and coastal paths. The beach and village facilities are within easy walking distance. The convenience store has friendly owners and long opening hours, the pub serves a nice pint, and the fish...
"Lovely property very clean, beautiful view had an amazing time. Lots of stairs up to the apartment but worth it.
Brilliant hosts very organised, though please note £25 damage fee non refundable or £200 refundable. "
"Nice 3 bedroom apartment. Lovely to have a bath in each ensuite. Kitchen isn't particularly well stocked (we had to keep washing up) but I've come to expect this from holiday rents now. The doors are all on closing mechanisms that crash the heavy doors shut with her loud bangs. This would be a problem if you had children as I'd worry they might crush fingers.
Little bit noisy during the day when the cafe is open downstairs. Won't be a problem if you're out all day.
The restaurant in Barn 1 is...
"The apartment was nice, but I did not get apartment I booked and was not told before my stay because I booked the apartment with a bath and was given an apartment with a shower, I had trouble with openening and locking them as i found the catches were too small to open the door and I had to use 2 hands to open the main doors, one for the handle and one for the lock, I initially had trouble getting into the building because the door had a code and was not given instructions of how to use the code...
"Location was great. Apartment was clean. Was a little weird having to watch an electric meter to make sure it didn't run out!!
Owner really friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately didn't have Netflix, and no towels provided. But the bed was comfortable.
Everything worked in the kitchen...cooker fridge etc
Basic clean comfortable stay, you have to clean everything (including oven) before you leave, and put the bin bags out! "

"Staff friendly as always , lovely hotel in a lively town . The walk along the prom is always enjoyable - nice scenery and plenty of fresh air.
Always look forward to our 4 - 5 weeks at the Cliff each year "
"Stayed for two nights, The Hotel and room was kept spotlessly clean, the hotel staff were all very friendly, we was made to feel very welcome and everyone working was very accommodating. Lovely large sea view room with en suite, excellent views, hot drink facilities, toiletries t.v and hairdryer.
Breakfast was cooked fresh, very tasty and great menu with plenty of choice, served by polite staff catering to specific needs.
Location of the hotel was fab, in a quiet area need the waterways with onsite parking.
Will definately return as I have found my new favourite hotel in the area 😍
"
"The room was newly refurbished, good standard, bright, modern, all the basics, plenty of power points with built in usb ports.
The staff were helpful, friendly and tried hard. They were let down by outside contractor not fitting a new boiler properly so it took time before the hot water was fixed.
Letsface it , Yarmouth has a lot of old crumbly hotels that need a lot of work.
While overall the Hotel looks dated they are doing up the rooms.
It is a bit hit and miss but you're not paying much so dont expect the Ritz if your paying less tan 40 quid for a double, then theres probably issues.
I only paid 12 quid with loyalty offers and 32 forthe second night .
No kettle and heating not on , were remidied quickly .
There was a fridge and microwave in room , so you get a lot for your money."
"Super stay, very large comfy room. Pool sauna and steam room bigger than average, friendly staff and very high quality breakfast. Walking distance to roman ruins, beach and lifeboat museum."
"For us it was the friendly approachable staff and the good atmosphere. We liked the breakfast and the room very much, everything was easy and felt relaxed. The staff were exceptionally kind to our son, who is five, and we’re happy to chat with him each day. We appreciated that kindness - thank you."
