"There's lots of traffic around the main roads to the hotel. Normal travel time from the hotel location to Richmond is about 40 minutes. It took us one and half hour on a weekday afternoon ride to Richmond. Otherwise everything else is good."

"A very nice retro hotel. The lack of air-conditioning cold be a problem in hot weather but we were fine when we stayed. Having your car directly in front of your room is excellent if you are loading and unloading. A small room fridge would be nice but due to the age of the property we knew not all modern conveniences were available. Overall it worked well for our needs."

"This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip! The rooms were very clean, and the complimentary breakfast was great. The workout room was also clean. It was a little small, but still had enough room for about five or six people to exercise comfortably. The pool and hot tub were both working, clean, and well maintained. The location was excellent and very close to the highway, making it easy to get around. There were amazing restaurants nearby and plenty of entertainment for the kids, including an IMAX theater and a cute sunflower farm with food and animals. Our only complaint was the parking. We have a GMC Yukon, and many of the spaces seemed better suited for smaller vehicles, so parking could be difficult. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel, especially to families!"

"The room could have been cleaner, the sheets were dirty on one bed, there was hair in the bathtub and on the bathtub wall. The remote control for the tv did not work. The breakfast was good with a good selection and the workers were very nice and helpful. They kept the breakfast area nice and tidy."
