I have just stayed a week in this hotel and I felt totally at home. The location is good, close to the centre of Madrid but far away enough to feel peace and quiet amongst the local population. The hotel itself was very pleasant, clean and welcoming and certainly worth the money. I had the option of an upgrade to a room on the front that I would recommend. I did not take the breakfast option, choosing instead to eat in local cafes which are plentiful although that is something I personally like...

Im confused as to why this is a 2* hotel, maybe to do with facilities because i would certainly rate it a big 4* Location was perfect for me, easy to visit all the sights. Staff extremely welcoming and friendly. Room had everything needed toiletries, fully stocked mini bar and including a personalised welcome message and gift which i though was a lovely touch. Nice breakfast and room service food was available if required. Had a brilliant stay and would certainly return and recommend

Great sized room with a large double bed. Very clean, and great location , easy to get to all parts of madrid and the metro. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of cold meats, cheese fruits and breads, and cooked food including eggs and sausages. All staff very helpful. The interior is very art deco, a great hotel!

Excellent location, room and service. My room was very big, cleaned and comfortable. Staff was helphul and very nice. The hotel is in Madrid centre. There are coffe shops, restaurants, shops, supermarket nrxt to the hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for four nights and found it located very conveniently to central parts of Madrid. The standard of the room was great for what I paid and I could not have asked for more. No issues. Staff was helpful and I appreciated that I was allowed to leave my baggage with the hotel after I had checked out. They had a system for that in place that I felt I could trust. Breakfast was pretty good and the coffee was great quality Nespresso. Overall, I would not mind staying here again.

Excellent hotel, friendly staff, comfortable clean room and housekeeping first class, Great breakfast with grill chef for omelettes etc. Great location, easy walk to Prado and other art galleries. Didn't need to use the Metro except to and from the airport.

Nice hotel in a central location with all major attractions within walking distance, for the reasonably fit. For those wanting to save their legs, the Gran Via Metro is close.

All the staff were friendly and efficient. The room with a street view was relatively quiet (and better than most for central Madrid) with shutters and double glazing. The street is one way with less traffic than most. Vehicles can be barely heard but people shouting or dogs barking are still audible.
