"Breakfast was cooked to order...but they just couldnt get it right...scrambled eggs when I asked for poached...two of everything even though I specifically asked for just one ...but then covered in mushrooms cooked in GRAVY!. Dinner had a very limited menu...but what they did have was ok...except when we asked for desert...we were told they were all frozen and would take hours to defrost. Why...when they had 13 of us booked for dinner did they not think to take desert orders in time for them to defrost. But worst of all one of my colleagues was in bed when someone burst into her room. The key to her room had just been given to another guest...without any checks as to if they had asked for the correct room key. My colleague was distraught...and scared...and the whole thing was not handled well. We will not be returning to this hotel...and cant recommend it. "

"Brilliant location but the dinner was mediocre and the you could feel and hear the springs in the mattress so not such a good sleep. They must have had a big rush for breakfast with most tables needing clearing. The breakfast food was cooked to order and all good. The car park was fairly empty when we arrived but filled up in the morning when all the business folk arrived."

"A nice hotel with clean comfortable room. Breakfast offered a good variety of items and staff were friendly . The usp is definitely the view from the bedroom which was great ! Looking out over the golf course was lovely"

"The gym and pool were good but busy. It's a walk out of town, maybe 20 mins walk to the train station. Very nice staff, bar staff were particularly friendly and welcoming. Had a minor cleanliness issue with my room. They didn't correct it and didn't offer any recompense for it. Not my hair on the chair!"
