Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Excellent location for both train stations
Chosed for proximity to the venue I wanted
Great for food outlets
Reception staff very friendly/helpful
Very easy to find
The hotel is old and big with about 4-5 stairways leading to the bedrooms
The single room was very small, the smallest I've ever had in London
Thought it was cold but that was my fault for not locating the radiator valve as the bed is squeezed right up to the window and the radiator
Bed was fine
1-2 nights would be sufficient in this space
But for location/price, it was fine for me
Fire doors not well maintained so slammed constantly all night, Bit dirty, the showers basically had no temperature control, boiling hot in the evening and ice cold in the morning when all the demand was on.
Rooms are pretty small but perfectly fine for a night or two. Always try to stay here as it is close to St Pancras and Euston.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, with towels, teas and coffees. Hairdryer also included. Also has a nice view of the St Pancras clock tower.
