We purposely upgraded to the deluxe room category ( the hotel’s middle tier) and were disappointed with the quality of the room ( appointments, noisy between the floors, poor air circulation). The deluxe is more of a “ standard”. However, we were only in the room a few hours as there was an issue with the bathroom, which the hotel’s manager and night desk staff dealt with in a very professional fashion. The hotel then upgraded us to a different room ( a junior suite) which was much more in keeping with our expectations. The breakfast was good value and a good variety. The front desk staff (day staff) seemed untrained and overall unhelpful. The night staff were excellent. The hotel is very conveniently located to Victoria Station and tube, the theatre, and Buckingham palace. It is in a lovely neighborhood. Worth staying at, but upgrade to the highest level of offering.

We reserved a twin bed room with upgrades. I think it was called superior room. We ended up in a basement room with a partial window which looked out onto a dingy stairway we were in the basement. I don’t think this is the room we paid for.

We had an amazing stay at the Tophams Hotel. The location is so close to Victoria station but yet the street is so quiet. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the staff were friendly and helpful! They even kept our bags when we arrived early so we could go off and explore! We took the option of the continental breakfast which was varied and perfect to start the day. You could also choose to have a cooked breakfast for an extra fee but we did not feel the need to try it. Very, very happy with our choice!

The Tophams was such a great hotel for our first time in London. The bed was extremely comfortable, the tub was amazing to soak in each night and the heated towel bar with robes and slippers made it even mor luxurious! The hotel is very close to Victoria Station which made it very easy to use the tube around the city. Lots of pubs nearby and the best Ramen I’ve ever had at Bone Daddy’s! We will definitely be back! The hotel was also great about letting us leave our bags before check in to explore this city, and also before our late flight after our check out time. The staff were very nice, and it was incredibly quiet at all times of the day which made resting even better. Our stay couldn’t have been any better. Thank you Topham’s staff!
