Shoebox Room is indeed a shoebox - very tiny, not much space to even unpack. Shower is half style, water gets everywhere. Lobby is a mess - loud music nearly all day, what is a mash up of an internet café, a bar and night club (including DJs some nights) filled with people who don't even stay there just loitering about. Staff is marginal at best. Oddly - Wi-Fi to the room is sporadic (likely because of all the aforementioned lobby denizens) and the cool looking streaming radio in the room kept cutting out. I'm sure all of this is catering to a younger demographic.
All that said, on the positive side, the hotel looks nice, is close to several attractions and a tube station. Even so, if you are over 40 I would not recommend this place. It is greatly overpriced for the "experience".
