Staff were lovely and room was immaculately clean, very well maintained and in a great location for the Barbican. Sadly we didn't aleep great as the room was hot and couldn't get the aircon to go cool enough for us. (We didn't ask staff as it was during the night and would have had to dress and go down to reception as no phone in the rooms) and our tv randomly came on at 4am! So, not a great sleep for us, but couldn't fault anything else!

Precisely as described - room only accommodation, which was warm, quiet and comfortable, with a lovely en suite. Staff were friendly and welcoming. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and secure at all times.

It was fine if all you need is a bed to sleep in, which is what I needed. But with no chair, desk, closet, or anything else, this is not a place to stay if you have a desire to take a break and relax in the room for a bit.

Tiny clean room, perfect for budget travellers. Bit claustrophobic if you planned to spend a lot of time there. Bathroom good but smelled musty, lots of hot water. Good 24 hour Turkish/Chinese/Korean shop across the street, tons of cheap restaurants around the corner. 4 big supermarkets a 5 minute walk, 55 bus virtually outside the hotel takes you to Oxford Circus central London in about 15 minutes. Nice friendly staff.

It did its job
The room was small but it did its job. The bed was a little soft for my liking but the linen and towels were clean. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. Near tube and bus stops so it was easy for me to get to work the next day. I would stay again.
