Amazing service, incredibly friendly staff and stunning decor/style. We loved our 2 night stay here as part of our wedding celebrations and I couldn’t recommend it enough. The room service was prompt and the food fantastic too.
Great hotel, it just needs (a lot) more light in the rooms.

Blakes is very cool, but it is no longer a 5 star hotel, at least not the two rooms we saw. This is an expensive hotel that claims 5 stars. It is tired. The two rooms we were offered at our price (plenty), were a bit cramped for a couple, and again, tired (e.g. old paint, soiled carpets).

Blakes is beyond its prime. It was one of the first boutique hotels in London around 40 years ago but today it felt as if it was reminiscent of past glory. My first room was extremely small, noisy, and I had to bend me knees in order to fit under the shower. I paid for an upgrade and indeed I was given a very spacious and nice room. The deco however is out of date, the table lights are run down and in general the hotel is not comparable to new top end boutique hotels. The staff was indeed wonderful and very helpful and the restaurant and bar is great and is a happening place
Excellent location, service, people and vibe. Modern and chic with a perfect South Ken location gives you a local vibe and let you just melt into glam London life.
Very helpful front desk staff. I arrived at 7am and they made a room available for me until my own room was available. Much appreciated after a 20 hour flight!
Dålig avrinning i badrum.

Money was taken from my room and, after informing the hotel, nothing was done to resolve the situation. Also, my bed was more of a day bed and each night I had to call to have it converted to a bed. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.
david, at front desk, was exceptionally helpful and accommodating.
miss classic blakes opium lounge, though.
also really miss lovebirds and lobby umbrella.
would suggest restaurant podium be removed from small lobby space, and placed within restaurant.
